How are you these days in the hot weather?
This is Horiguchi itsu from portrait corner.

Summer is coming closer and closer and I’m excited!
Why…? Because I am taking part of a Japanese cultural festival “Japan Expo” in Paris which is held from July 7th until 10th. I am there as a portrait artist. I heard many people who are interested in Japanese culture gather. I'm nervous because it’s such a big festival, but also looking forward to it!

Also, portrait corner will be open everyday throughout August!! There will be two artists waiting for you on the weekend and Obon week (One of the Japanese major holiday seasons, from 11th to 16th). As we have many visitors I recommend you to visit us in the morning. We will be waiting for you!!

By the way, this portrait was made to show that he had cold at the time. It would be fun to have yourself drawn with your feeling on the day too.
