The rainy season started over here in Kyoto. It's been raining almost everyday.

Have you ever heard of Mizuki Shigeru who is a manga artist? There is a TV drama made by NHK channel that started this spring which was written by his wife about her life with Mr. Mizuki. We have set a few panels to introduce the program at the entrance of the museum. We are also showing some old manga books from the post war period opposite the reception.

These exhibited items are all important so we keep them in a case however it's possible for you to touch and read them if you register at the Research Reference Room where we have over 2000 books from the period. If you are interested, please come and find us on the 3rd floor of the museum.
