"God bless France"

The special exhibition "La Rose de Versailles" has begun the latter part of the exhibition. This exhibition will be held until May 8th.
We have approximately 150 works in the show and the theme for this period is "Amidst the Storms of Revolution". The story will show you how characters lived through the French revolution.

(How we swapped works)

You can go through the exhibition as you would read manga however each work she drew is also a piece of art. You can see how characters and backgrounds are drawn from the words she put down to explain how she wanted them to be.

How the focus lines were hand drawn even over the actual frames show you how much effort she made to complete her work.

You of course can see the famous scenes like Andre and Oscar finally being together, Antenetti and Fersen meeting for the last time etc.

You cannot see these moments without tears. You will be moved so much more to see them in the original drawings too. When Oscar says the last words "God bless France" you will have such an emotional feeling for sure.

There is a panel explaining the meaning and attraction of showing original pictures. You will be able to find out what the actual difference between printed form and original, also the importance
and value of making digital duplication of an original manga. These are the things you can learn from visiting the museum.

So please go and see the Genga' (Dash) exhibition which shows you the digital duplication of an original manga manuscript though the use of color tone control and printing. This will give you a different point of view comparing to the original drawings.
