≪Kyoto MaGiC news≫ No.8 "Exhibition"


So fashion show finished successfully and Kyoto MaGic exhibition has been on for 2 weeks.



11 designs are exhibited out of 21 that were shown in the fashion show.



You cannot touch them but you can get very close to them.



You can see the details even embroidery.



You of course can see the Genga'(Dash) illustration of Takahashi Macoto's original drawing.



There also is a panel that explains how the dress was made.



These are the works by SOU-SOU that includes 5 Western styles and 5 Japanese styles.
You can see the panel with their process too.
They made 15 Western styles for the show but we chose the best five to exhibit.
You can see all the other designs in the video and photo.



You can find the same pattern that Nakahara originally drawn in the illustration both in the Western and Japanese style.




You can see the video of fashion show too.
You can feel the atmosphere with the music we had in the show too.



We also put the panels that show you what Kyoto MaGic project is.



There are 7 panels that are divided into the periods.
You also can find the materials which aren't easy to find nowadays.
You will find the reason why we chose Nakahara Junichi and Takahashi Macoto for "Shojo manga and fashion".



We are thinking of selling these clothes that are in the exhibition so please ask for more details at the museum shop.


SOU-SOU's Western styles are available by individual order.
There also is an event called "Otome damashii (Girls spirit)" in Takashimaya department store in Kyoto between 4th and 17th of April.
